Gaming PC Problems- Hardware?

My PC: Motherboard: MEDIONPC MS-7633 Processors(Dual-Core): Intel Pentium E5500 Core Speed: 2803.3 MHz Multiplier: x 6.0 Bus Speed: 200.3 MHz Rated Bus Speed: 801.0 MHz Caches L1 Data Cache Size2 x 32 KBytes L1 Instructions Cache Size2 x 32 KBytes L2 Unified Cache Size2048 KBytes RAM: 4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 400MHz (6-6-6-15) Graphics: MD 20089 (1366x768@60Hz) 1024MB GeForce 9500 GT (nVidia) Operating System: MS Windows 7 64-bit Why does my PC lag most of my games? The specifications are very high for games, I THINK it might have something to do with my motherboard. My questions: 1) Can anybody find any information on my motherboard? Can it handle my DDR2/3 Graphics/RAM? 2) Is my system even compatible? 3) Why is my system so slow sometimes? I built this thing myself and works perfectly fine, until I introduce any shadows/effects to games or crack it up from Low settings to High, even on old games!

  1. The truth is the 9500GT is no match for the latest games at med-high settings. Crysis 2 for example needs a 8800GT as a minimum requirement and this is a faster graphics card than yours.

This is the area you need to be looking at to upgrade.
