What programs should i run to test the hardware on a newly built gaming PC?
I just built a new PC and i keep hearing about people who run tests on their hard drives, RAM, CPU's etc to make sure they are working properly, i have never used these programs but think it would be a good idea to do so, any information/suggestions would be great, thanks.
- This will help you
- burnintest is great.
You have to pay to use it, but I'm sure you can find a free copy SOMEWHERE. *cough*
- I use several programs. 3D mark Vantage is a good all around test. Crystal mark for harddrives. Heaven test, and Furmark for graphics. And, of course, Prime 95 for burn in and tourture testing of cpu.

Here are some benchmark softwares, but you may have to pay for them:
Here are some free ones:
- Run a game?
- run a blueray on mkv ,i have a custom pc runs really good 4 core
