Build Your Own Gaming PC

Looking to build my first gaming PC, brand new to hardware and building computers.?

Looking for a complete list of specific parts. My budget is $1000, I am looking to run triple monitors or will settle for double, I would also like to have a wireless connection. Things I don't need: Monitors, keyboard, mouse I also have an external 2TB hard drive. Please feel open to give any suggestions Thank you!

  1. Try www.tomshardware.com and www.newegg.com. use tomshardware forums to ask a new build question, they will give you a better answer.

  2. For a triple monitor budget you'll need more than 1,000. For a double, 1,000 should do. Here are the parts i recommend. Also could you please say the res. of your monitor? that would be great.

CPU: Intel i5-2400 (i only recommend the 2500k if your overclocking, really no point sense the processor is great) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115074

    Motherboard: Asrock P67 EXTREME4 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157229

GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 560Ti x1 or Nvidia Geforce GTX 550Ti x2 I recommend the 550Ti x 2 because of the dual monitor setup. Or if you have extra money left over you can get GTX 560 x2. (not Ti version)

Hard drive: Western digital 500gb caviar black.

PSU:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010 Corsair 750watt. Should do just fine

    Case:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156078 Raidmax case, big.

Memory: G-Skill 2x4gb Ripjaw's RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231311 8gb is just fine, over that is overkill.

    Wireless card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833166020

That adds up to around 980 dollars. (i calculated this with the 1x 560Ti)

Hope i helped, i recommend all these parts because they're high end.

If you need any more advice or would like a different recommendation just email me.
