I've put up loads and loads of questions on yahoo answers, i did used to have 250 points now it's like 160 or something, Because i want to spend some of my savings £600 on a decent gaming computer and i think 600 pound is like $1000-ish, But i keep getting different replies some say it's crap and wont play decent modern games, others say it's okay, some say it's really good, I dont know what to think! So can somebody who atchaully knows about all this stuff give a true answer is this computer any good and will it play modern games well and how good will be the graphics card, Thanks alot. 1. Not really, that graphics card is only going for $60ish, the CPU is only dual core... good video cards are going for around $150 at least right now.

  2. It is a decent computer for gaming, though the CPU is only a dual core, and the graphics card is a little weak. Games are starting to get optimized for more processing cores, a quad core handles other software much better as well. The Phenom II X4 945,965,or 970,or the six core 1055T for just a bit more are great cpus.

I would recommend finding something with the Phenom II X4 processor and buy a ATI HD 5770 yourself.

  3. OMG! thanks for being the first person to pair a cpu and gpu correctly.....but they are both a little weak for todays games, but you should be able to play games on medium around 1280x1024

  4. dont bother buying this pc if u prefer gaming . now a day u can get (if u can assemble ur self) core i5 (~$180)pc with a decent graphic(Nvidia gtx 460 or a ATI HD5830 ~$200-$220) card for around $1000ish.

    4GB DDR3ram(~$100)

    1.5TB HDD (~$100)

    decent p55 motherboard ~$100

    a power supply ~$70

    so shop around..
