Build Your Own Gaming PC

I'm looking at building a high-powered gaming PC.I know the basics but need help with hardware compatibility?

Like I've said I know the basics of building a pc and have someone who can assemble it but I want to make sure I get hardware that is compatible with the other hardware I buy. Can anyone either explain how to work out what will work with what or point me to a site that will. Thanks PS. If it helps my budget is around £1000, maybe a bit more.

  1. Start with the motherboard and go from there. It's specs will tell you what processor and RAM will work. The video card should tell you how many watts your power supply needs to be.Other than that, just knowing what size motherboard fits the case is about all you need to know.
