What is a good custom built gaming pc configuration for under $1000?
I'm looking to build my own gaming computer but am trying to save some money but I still want something that is high performance. Is there any thing that you would specifically recommend such as motherboards, cpu, video cards, etc?
- Invest the most money on a good graphics card. Focus on clock speed and DDR3 on the card. You do not need an i7 system for gaming (you could but its too expensive), maybe a nice Core 2 Duo or a Core 2 Quad Q9550.
- you can bet on good perfomance on a budget just do some homework first I run a Intel extrem board core 2 quad @2.66 ghz processor with 4 gigs of 10666 ram and a nvidia 9600gtx graphic card 1gig ram and silvania 22 inch monitor i put together for about $900 bucks it runs great all over and it has the sli support if i want to go bigger the only regret i have is i wish id or used a msi, evga, board .all around the same price though I think its important to go with what you will be happy with. check newegg or tiger direct for the best deals
- Ok build one on your own and save some money.I am giving you the specifications but assuming that you already have a screen and operating system
